The 12th Steel Technology and Economy Forum was held at Yongfeng Lingang Company

On November 16th, the 12th Iron and Steel Technology Economic Forum with the theme of "Technology Leading, Innovation Creating Efficiency" was grandly held at Lingang Company. This forum focuses on themes such as "improving operational efficiency", "enhancing enterprise competitiveness through technological innovation and operational efficiency", and "reducing costs and increasing efficiency to help enterprises improve profitability", sharing the latest practices and achievements of industry technological innovation, and exploring the path of high-quality development and excellent operation in the steel industry.
This forum is guided by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, co hosted by the China Society of Metals, the China Institute of Industrial Basic Capability Development Strategy, and the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute. It is jointly organized by the Beijing Society of Metals, the Shandong Iron and Steel Industry Association, and the Metallurgical Technology and Economics Branch of the China Society of Metals.
The warm winter sun shines with golden light. At 8 o'clock in the morning, more than 100 experts and scholars from the government, steel enterprises, financial institutions, research institutes, as well as new technology enterprises, logistics and transportation enterprises, steel enterprises, information technology enterprises, trade and circulation enterprises, gathered at the Lingang Company Conference Center. Hosted by Wang Xinjiang, Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Metals.
Chen Xiangyang, president of Shandong Iron and Steel Industry Association, said that the iron and steel industry will play an important technical role in promoting Chinese path to modernization. We must maintain composure, rely on technology to lead, innovate and create efficiency, strengthen communication, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the steel industry and high-quality development.
Fan Tiejun, president of Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute, pointed out that it is necessary to promote development through innovation, carry out collaborative research and development of common technologies, plan and deploy a series of exploratory and breakthrough research and development projects, continue to optimize and improve new processes and technologies, integrate intelligent technologies such as smart sensors, 5G, Internet of Things, industrial Internet, artificial intelligence, big data into the process of steel manufacturing and operation decision-making, and comprehensively cultivate new driving forces for steel development.
